Fats consumed should be less than 30% of your total energy intake. WHO recommends favoring unsaturated fats such as those found in fish, avocado and nuts, and olive oil. Keep the intake of saturated fats at a minimum–those are found in fatty meat, butter, cream cheese, ghee, and lard. And trans-fats are best kept at bay.
